Vale Bill Kelly

William Kelly OAM died last month.

Bill (1943-2023) was an American-Australian artist, humanist, and pacifist of international renown. He was also my hero, mentor, and friend.

I couldn’t make it to Bill’s memorial in Nathalia. Instead, I sent this video message.

I loved collaborating with Bill on ‘The Art of Bridge Building’ — a piece for a United Nations/Art for Humanity exhibition in South Africa back in 2010. An image of that piece is below.
