The Norseman’s Song is a novel that I dreamed about for twenty years, then wrote in a fever.
It’s very different from the new novel I’ve just started writing and radically different from Judas Boys. It will be in all good bookshops from July 1.
You can pre-order a copy here.
Announcement: I’ll be taking part in a few sessions at the Brisbane Writers’ Festival on Sunday, June 2.
The first session is at 11.30AM with three stellar novelists: Charlotte Wood, Catherine Chidgey, and Anna McGahan. The second session is at 5.30PM with a fellow poet, Shivram Gopinath, and two fellow non-fiction writers, Dominic Gordon and David Goodwin.
The details of the sessions, and links to the BWF, are below.
I haven’t met any of the people I’m sharing sessions with, but am enjoying reading their works to prepare for the day.
I’ll also be in town on the Saturday — and taking the opportunity to go to as many sessions as possible. I love Brisbane.
